my love of jewelry began at a very early age. my second sentence at age 18 month was "I have pearls", in reference to my favorite plastic pearl necklace. I wore my pearls everywhere--to the beach, to playdates, to pajama storytime, etc. though my plastic pearl necklace was retired many years ago, I still believe in the importance of being adorned with signature pieces. no matter how simple or ornate, jewelry can capture an individual's sense of style and make a bold statement.
